Focus Area of Contribution & Strategic Relevance:

Digital Creation E2E is a strategic board program under the digital umbrella building the must-have adidas creation infrastructure of the future. Focus is to digitize the end-to-end creation-to-shelf value chain, covering marketing, creation, sourcing (supplier integration) and sell-in.

It is an integral part of adidas strategy “Own the Game”

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Ensure new technologies and design processes are implemented into the creative teams, supporting the creators as a key strategic partner to the brand
  • Support design operation within new and existing tools, keeping the teams across the brand at the leading edge of innovation
  • Test solutions and Execute design creation processes within BU’s, with the 3D design team to meet the brands goals and maintain leadership in the sporting goods industry

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Innovation

  • Partner with designers across the brand to support the use of new tool and process innovations within your business units, ultimately helping position our brand as a technology and thought leader in the creative realm.
  • Facilitate communication on innovative and complex technologies to inspire and lead your BU in the adoption of design methods and tools.
  • Engage with creators across the organisation to support adidas in being recognized as the creator brand.
  • Identify opportunities of improvement and change the end to end process.

Strategy and Implementation

  • With your team lead, successfully implement tools fallowing the digital creation strategic goals, helping plan and deliver for designers in your BU.
  • Empower and engage the creators in your team rolling out solutions with clarity, effectively on-boarding creative partners
  • Organize testing new technologies and processes helping provide fact-based feedback and requirements to IT
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure targeted results and community awareness
  • Consult with cross-functional team members to ensure end-to-end benefits are achieved

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Highly knowledgeable about creative technologies
  • Enjoy communicating with the creative teams
  • Skilled in Modo or comparable 3D applications, including creating 3D modeling of product and advanced knowledge of rendering/lighting setup, color and shading.
  • Advanced in sketching and drawing methods, in Adobe Suite
  • Strong visual skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, designers, and other employees of the organization
  • Experience designing footwear and/or apparel product is a plus
  • Under-graduate level Design, 3D, or related education experience
  • Solid education and advanced experience in the creative development of communication tools
  • Experience in 3D Visualization or Design
  • Experience with the entire design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solution)
  • Passion for adidas and it’s mission
  • Passion for sports, culture, design

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Track record of experience in digital transformation focusing on 3D Design and Digital Creation E2E within Apparel or Footwear industries
  • Between 1-2 years of relevant work experience in digital transformation environment (e.g.  top tier consulting, project management, apparel/fashion, IT domain)
  • University degree
