THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Omni Inventory Planning for our Omni Channel team at our North American headquarters in Portland, OR.

The Assistant Manager, Omni Inventory Planning willsupport implementing strategic and tactical initiatives to bring transparent financial visibility to inventory across all commercial channels. Partner with leadership to create financial forecasting for excess sales and NAM inventory holdings. Lead creation of reporting and analytics that help support all Omni Inventory functions (Operations, Planning, Excess Management & Excess Sales). In partnership with leadership, build proper process & strategies to review new and or challenging operational/financial opportunities for the market.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Work withvarious businesspartners to analyze, review and recommend actions to maximize sales, turns and gross margin for excess inventory by channel.
  • Provide clear messaging and ensure understanding with business leaders on our current forecasts.
  • Create cohesive reports and accurate data analysis to assist in overall business decisions.
  • Assist with liquidation strategies utilizing an omni-channel approach, including financial models of expected impact to the region.
  • Support business partners and leadership team with data reporting and analysis needs.
  • Collect and compile information from various departments for use in planning opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain Omni Inventory Reporting on a weekly basis.
  • Provide recommendations and strategize new reporting to support the greater team.
  • Drive improvements/efficiencies in both excess reporting/analysis and up/down stream excess processes, sales, and operations.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

A strong fit for the role will have:

  • Ability to access data from a variety of database structures and put together comprehensive reporting for the team
  • High level understanding of the end-to-end planning process
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and familiarity with merchandising systems/applications (MicroStrategy, Access, Tableau, SAP & SQL)
  • Advanced Excel skills, and a thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, resulting in the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Able to make quick decisions off limited information
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task to complete objectives on a tight timeline
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, IT
  • Industry-specific experience preferred
  • Inventory management, Retail Planning or Financial Planning experience
