Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Manage and guide execution of assortment planning strategy across DTC channels (Own Retail, Franchise, E-com), except Factory Outlets
Deliver the option planning and channel ranging ensuring clear input is collected from key stakeholders in market level, including all countries and clusters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assortment planning process by creating Option Plans and Channel Ranges per channel/segment tier
- Drive global priorities of DTC brand collection, DTC exclusives and key horizontal initiatives of sustainability, credibility and inclusivity with a cross-category women’s approach.
- Enable the market store format strategy and store tiering methodologies that are aligned with global methodologies
- Implement initiatives that allow the collaboration with the OR/FR channel teams to attain optimal Option Plans for DTC channels
- Enable further streamlining of the market DTC range based on horizontal reviews at key milestones
- Drive Market Range enhancements through Assortment Planning that reflects localization and differentiation in market range where needed (seasonality, differentiation)
- Prepare the channel ranging process across all channels, including Brand Collection and key stories, and balancing global assortment packages and specific market needs.
- Prepare feedback sessions to RA teams to assure that Option Plans needs are reflected based on channel/tier-segment needs. Drive global priorities of DTC brand collection, DTC exclusives and key horizontal initiatives of sustainability, credibility and inclusivity with a cross-category womens approach.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to understand the art & science of buying & merchandising along with a broad understanding of business KPIs, product knowledge & consumer focus, relevant especially to DTC channels
- Specialist in option planning and channel ranging processes with strong understanding of relevant systems solutions
- Broad and deep knowledge of assortment planning processes with a good balance between theoretical understanding and practical experience
- Knowledge/Skills in buying & merchandising methodologies & processes
- High level of proficiency in MS-excel, and data analysis
- Strong communication & influencing skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed set-up, across global/multi-cultural teams and set-ups.
Requisite Education and Experience/ Minimum Qualification:
- University degree in business, ideally either in fashion/footwear merchandising or marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
- 4-5 years of typical relevant work experience
- Experience of working with a global sports wear / fashion brand or any global work experience will be an added advantage
