Vans sneakers were originally designed for skateboarders, but the brand’s latest collection is made specifically for the kitchen.

Vans has partnered with renowned apron brand Hedley & Bennett to launch a new sneaker collection featuring Sk8-Hi footwear and new colors in Slip-On Low.

The Headley & Bennett x Vans Sk8-High Collaboration features a simple white, black forest and charcoal color scheme with a waterproof canvas and suede upper that weighs only 8 oz. Headley & Bennett’s “&” branding is engraved on the heel, and custom UltraCush insoles and multi-colored non-slip soles are used for comfort. The Headley & Bennett x Vans Slip-On Low combines black with a colorful non-slip sole.

Headley & Bennett offered buyers a tip. “I know you’re going to hate taking these shoes off. This collection is not a traditional work shoe. Of course, this product is not certified by CSA or ASTM. It is not certified for everyday use. Wear it at your own risk.”

The Hedley & Bennett x Vans collection is available at Hedleyandbennett.com for retail prices of $80-$90. Upon launch, the “Black Forest” color is sold out and the remaining product sizes are limited.

This isn’t the first time Vans has launched a kitchen footwear collection. In March, Vans teamed up with “Top Chef Masters” former Chris Cosentino to launch iconic slip-ons and old-school shoes.
